Kosmos house and garage
Here's an email I got from a former resident of this house!
Dear Mr. Steiner:
I enjoyed--I think-- seeing your pictures of Kosmos site. I lived there as a child from 1951 to 1965. I am pretty sure that your three images of the "Kosmos house and garage" show the site of my childhood home on what we called Camp Road. It was built by my late father King Pixler, who worked for US Plywood (Champion International). Our house was located just south of the garage-and-workshop structure. I can tell you that Picture 2 does NOT depict a privy; it's the foundation of our wellhouse (my father, being a man of many practical talents, dug the well himself).
I think dad would be happy to know that his concrete slabs endure!
Sincerely,
Rebecca Pixler

Looks like a driveway up to a house with a garage.

(To me that looks like a privy outside the house with that hole. maybe it's
a chimney base or something. the garage and driveway are at the top of the
picture.) The letter above corrects my assumption above and we now know that
this is a well.
